Technical whitepaper
Architecture, evidence, limits, security posture and roadmap of the live network.
Whitepaper · Version 1.0 · July 21, 2026
GenesisL1 publishes the canonical technical whitepaper for a live decentralized scientific ledger: a public, EVM-compatible Layer 1 where exact data, Model NFTs, deterministic computation, rights and protected knowledge share one verifiable history.
Built for researchers, institutions, developers and autonomous software. Scientific first; crypto-native by architecture.
Publication materials
Canonical documents, plain-text copy, printable PDFs and a complete downloadable media archive. All claims are aligned with Whitepaper Version 1.0.
Architecture, evidence, limits, security posture and roadmap of the live network.
Publication announcement with official quotations, boilerplates and media contact.
Core facts, deployed systems, in-development work, boundaries and verification links.
Documents, outlined SVG logos, high-resolution PNGs, captions and usage notes.
The publication
GenesisL1 is not a proposal to wrap a token around research. It is a live public environment in which scientific objects, exact model versions, deterministic execution, results, rights and encrypted knowledge can become mutually composable.
The paper follows the infrastructure, not the reverse. Researchers, laboratories, software services and AI agents can inspect and call the same public contracts without relying on a single database operator, mutable private API or model host.
The ledger establishes what data, model, rule and transaction produced a result. Scientific truth still depends on methods, evidence, experimental validation, replication and review.
“GenesisL1 is already live. The opportunity now is for researchers, AI teams and institutions to build before the next scientific software stack is defined.”
Operational protocol stack
The whitepaper explicitly separates live systems from proofs of concept, in-progress research, planned work and components not yet independently audited.
Public EVM execution, replicated chain state, proof-of-stake security, on-chain governance and an independent native asset.
Open explorer ↗Molecular scientific objects and second-generation state for Protein Data Bank records and sequences.
Open MOLNFT ↗Content-addressed Model NFTs and deterministic fixed-point gradient-boosted inference inside the EVM.
Open GL1F ↗Encrypted scientific-IP capsules, provenance and recipient-bound disclosure for attributable-counterparty workflows.

Why a native asset exists
An independent Layer 1 requires its own resource, security and governance layer. L1 meters transactions, scientific state and computation; bonded L1 secures consensus; voting power participates in governance; and applications may settle access, inference and other services in L1.
Permanent replicated state carries an explicit L1 cost. That turns storage into a scarce, governed network resource and encourages compact, high-value on-chain artifacts while large datasets can use hashes, content identifiers or Merkle commitments.
The launch is documentation, not distribution. Publication of the whitepaper is not a token offering, private allocation, fundraising round, exchange-listing announcement or invitation to purchase L1.
Editorial media assets
Every diagram is supplied as an outlined vector SVG and as a high-resolution PNG. The visual system matches the final whitepaper: pure black, clinical navy, restrained medical blue and white.

Brand assets
Use the black mark on white whenever possible. Outlined SVG lockups contain no live font dependency; transparent PNGs are full-opacity exports.
Primary-source verification
The central advantage of a live-system publication is that key claims can be checked against public infrastructure rather than accepted as launch promises.
About GenesisL1
GenesisL1 is a live, public, permissionless EVM-compatible Layer 1 for scientific data, machine-learning models, deterministic computation, autonomous software, programmable rights, encrypted scientific IP and community governance.
Decentralized Science Labs LLC is a Wyoming R&D company contributing scientific research and software to GenesisL1. It does not own or control the public network.
