GenesisL1 is a live, public, permissionless EVM-compatible Layer 1 that brings scientific data, content-addressed models, deterministic computation, programmable rights, protected intellectual property, governance and autonomous software into one decentralized ledger.

Core facts

  • GenesisL1 has produced blocks since November 2021.
  • The network combines a Cosmos SDK and CometBFT application chain with an integrated EVM.
  • L1 coin is the native infrastructure asset used for transaction gas, proof-of-stake bonding, governance voting power and community-pool funding; applications may also use L1 for settlement.
  • The initial 21,000,000 L1 genesis mint was distributed through a public one-to-one transition. The whitepaper reports no token sale and no reserved or preferential founder or investor allocation. L1 is inflationary under parameters governed on-chain.
  • MOLNFT first-generation collections represent more than 733,919 tokenized molecular structures.
  • A second-generation MOLNFT deployment reports roughly 229,000 Protein Data Bank structures and approximately one million sequences, about 50 GB of logical scientific payload written into chain state. Reconstruction has been demonstrated for selected structures; checksum-complete corpus validation remains pending.
  • GLAST is the deployed operator-local metadata and sequence-search service using Whoosh indexing and Parasail alignment. It is distinct from the proposed GLAST-RIGID-1 three-dimensional structural-alignment research program.
  • GL1F publishes content-addressed Model NFTs and executes deterministic, fixed-point gradient-boosted inference inside the EVM.
  • A compact quantized neural-policy contract demonstrates neural inference inside the EVM as a proof of concept.
  • CIPNFT provides encrypted capsules, provenance, recipient-bound disclosure and an evidence-rich v1 exchange process for attributable counterparties.
  • CIPNFT's ML-KEM-768 envelope mode is optional and experimental. It does not make GenesisL1 account signatures post-quantum.
